WeGotYourBackUK is a volunteer led initiative that is focused on capturing the requirements of key workers and matching this with a community initiative that can help. This saves our key workers precious time and effort during this crisis. We have been set up to help deliver Personal Protective Equipment, scrubs, visors and other resources required to frontline NHS staff and other key workers

Our role is not to substitute the usual supply chain but to help support key workers facing shortages of PPE and other resources by accepting donations from our donors and distributing these, using volunteers, to you and other recipients

Disclaimer:

  • You and your associates must be aged over 18 to apply to be a recipient for the PPE equipment. We will not permit any under 18 years olds to be involved in any capacity

  • The PPE/scrubs/other equipment we provide you may not be the standard PPE/scrubs with which users are familiar with. Due to the nature of this crisis we are unable to ensure the quality of the donations and whether they adhere to your organisations individual standards. We therefore encourage you to ask the relevant questions to standardise these donations as it best suits.

  • You acknowledge that the scrubs we have provided you with may be made by our volunteers. The volunteers making the scrubs can range from organisations to individual seamstresses, at times from material procured from other donors. As such we cannot guarantee that the Scrubs made will have been made or delivered in a manner which removes the SARS-CoV-2 virus or any other pathogens. We and our volunteers and donors cannot assume responsibility should you, or anyone within your organisation including the users of the Scrubs or anyone connected with them including people they care for within the organisation, contract the SARS-CoV-2 virus or suffer any other illness, injury or damage as a result of the use of scrubs from our seamstresses. We and our volunteers cannot assume responsibility should the scrubs fail. The people making scrubs may also deliver and collect. We are advising that these donors, volunteers and seamstresses are adhering to safe handling/social distancing, however we are not able to guarantee it. As such we cannot assume responsibility should you, or anyone connected with you including a third party or anyone connected with them, contract the SARS-CoV-2 virus or suffer any other illness, injury or damage as a result of the use of collaborators and their donors or volunteers

  • We and our volunteers and donors do not accept responsibility should you or anyone connected with you or within your organisation including any users of the scrubs  or anyone connected with them, including people they care for within the organisation, contract the SARS-CoV-2 virus or suffer from any injury, illness or damage as a result of use, handling, delivery or storage of the scrubs.
